Flutter and bloom

$400

This is encaustic sorcery. A white moth appearing through layers of wax, photographic imagery, and pigment like a spirit breaking through the veil. Trisha Keefe has fused the delicate and the otherworldly into a single luminous composition. Orchid blooms melt into the atmospheric ground, ghostly forms spiral upward, and at the heart of it all, that moth — radiant, purposeful, impossibly present. No two encaustic works can ever be replicated. The layering process is irreproducible by nature — wax cools, imagery embeds, pigment disperses in ways that are as much accident as intention, guided always by Keefe's prayer and practiced hand. What you are acquiring is not just a painting but a living transformation, built from light, intention, and the belief that beauty itself is a healing force. Collectors of visionary and surrealist work will immediately recognize the rarity here. This piece sits at the crossroads of fine art photography, encaustic painting, and spirit — place it where light shifts across the day and watch the wax surface breathe differently by the hour.
