Suspended Orchids

$400

This is a world folded into itself — and it demands to be owned. Trisha Keefe's encaustic mixed-media work collides a misty forest with a cascade of luminous orchids, layering realities until something entirely new and alive emerges from the wax. The result is arresting: translucent veils of imagery overlap and breathe, golden tendrils curl through cool grey air, and deep rose-colored blooms float suspended between earth and spirit like a vision caught mid-air. This is the kind of work that softens a room. Hang it and watch guests stop, lean in, and begin searching — because there is always more to find. Each viewing reveals a new hidden form, a new depth, a new moment of recognition. That is the collector's secret with Keefe's work: it compounds in value with every encounter, both emotionally and on the wall. As a featured artist on the Pecos Studio Tour working from her Glorieta studio, Keefe is a rising name in the Southwest encaustic art world. Her pieces are intentional, rare, and built to last — wax, magic, and pigment fused into something that transcends medium. This is art with a soul.
